Formula Oppo: The Papa John's Grand Prix of New Jersey

Welcome to the 12th round of garbbly gook known as Formula Oppo, the only way that the yoots of the world get to play fantasy formula one on oppositelock. This week we come on home to Ferrari’s playground right here in New Jersey.

Previously on Formula Oppo: Lewis Hamilton got off to a good start and held his lead to a 1st place finish. Rosberg came in second . But the real story was Team Lettuce’s Romain finding his groove again qualifying well, getting a 5 spot penalty then driving his Lotus back up to Vettel’s tail and taking third when Sebastian’s right rear could take it no more and exploded, ending his race with just a few more miles to go. The Rad Russian came in 4th with Checko in 5th while Felipe got 6th. Kimi had a disappointing 7th and the Wee Baby got 8th ahead of a miserable Bottas.

This week though is Ferrari’s home turf so expect them to finish well or hear the boos of a bunch of angry Italians. Mercedes looks to extend their championship lead. Williams will be tested on their colors. Lotus looks to have Romain back on the podium and Maldonado’s blank checks to pay off their debts. Red Bull continues their sissy fight with Renault, Force India will keep trying to outscore McLaren, who in turn will keep trying to outscore Manor-Marussia even with their combined 105 spot penalties.
